Having learned the truth about her father, Vika faces a difficult choice. What to do first: save her parents or collect the Heart of the Eight Worlds? Both missions begin in the capital city of Deliris, so the decision can be postponed, but… She will have to make it eventually—under increasing pressure from the Resistance.
And the capital is magnificent! Every window exudes luxury and success. The interiors look like they’re straight from the cover of an expensive magazine. Everyone here must be so happy! The splendor makes your head spin; walking down the street, you lose track of time: everywhere there are stars, sparks, sparks, stars… Only, for some reason, the glow of Vanilka is fading. And time and again, there are people willing to do anything to see the brightest houses of Deliris disappear from the face of the city. And they even have the right weapon for it. To infiltrate the palace with the golden spires, in the dungeons of which one or even both of her parents might be languishing, Vika and her friends pull out all the stops and use every method possible to win the competition. After all, the winner will be invited to a gala dinner at the palace, and the previously locked doors will open before them.
