Eight-year-old Karolinka's family is moving to a new apartment. While the adults are packing and carrying out their belongings, the girl accidentally finds a small blue bead in a crack in the floor. And not just an ordinary one, but a magical one—the bead grants any wish! That is how the incredible adventures of Karolinka and her loyal friend Piotrek begin: they fly through the air, turn invisible, bring a wooden Baba Yaga and stone lions to life, and do battle with the evil witch Philomena... But the number of wishes the Blue Bead can grant is limited, and the friends learn to distinguish between frivolous fun and things that are truly important and worthwhile.
