Masha Rupasova is a children's poet, writer, and playwright, author of over thirty children's books, each of which is a real treat for children and their parents. "The Wonderful Transformations of Marya Petrovna Utkina" is the perfect supportive book for children who are about to start first grade or have already begun school. It is a book full of humor, warmth, mischief, and, most importantly, the love and support that we all need so much.
Seven years old is a serious age. At seven, a child decides whether to go to school or go straight to work. Seven-year-old Marya Petrovna Utkina wanted to go to work. First as a veterinarian, and then as an astronaut. But the animal clinic said that first she had to start and finish school, and then university. And Masha hadn't grown enough for even the smallest spacesuit yet. She had to agree to school.
Big, simply huge changes await Masha, but there is still a whole month left before the start of the school year. A month full of new acquaintances, bike rides, games of "snow meatballs," and secret agents. And, of course, trampoline jumping, because you need to get all your jumping in for a lifetime. After all, by the time you finish school, you'll turn into an old lady.
