When Max finds a tattered old diary belonging to a certain Sorcerer, he and his longtime girlfriend Alison learn about a portal through which, by a fatal accident, they enter the Lower World, an ominous land where dangers lurk at every turn. Here, Max and Alison are unexpectedly helped by the ferocious warrior Freya and her pet she-wolf Biter. Enlisting the support of Freya and using the clues from the mysterious diary, the friends set off in search of the Wizard, already realizing that it will be very difficult for them to get out of the Underworld.
