A gift edition for lovers of the classics. A poem about the struggle between good and evil, love and pride, which Mikhail Lermontov wrote for almost his entire life. Presented in a gift design by the contemporary artist Coriandre.
“We are used to perceiving a classic text as frozen material, reproduced from edition to edition in an unchanged form. In reality, however, all texts are born and grow, undergo multiple changes as they grow, transform, and live.” This book is for those who are looking for new keys to classic works to rediscover them;
for those who collect classics in aesthetic designs by contemporary artists.
