Get ready to learn about the glorious deeds of the Order of the Yellow Woodpecker!
In a Brazilian village live the dreamer Lucia and her brave brother Pedrinho. The best old women in the world, Dona Benta and Aunt Nasgasiya, cook corn porridge, donuts and coffee (yes, this is Brazil!) and read fairy tales to them in the morning. The children have unusual friends: the grouchy but very resourceful doll Emilia, Count de Cucuruso, who knows everything in the world (even though he is made from a dry cob), and the gluttonous piglet Rabiko. Their life is full of adventures: they are captured by the Monkey King, they fight with ferocious jaguars, they free a circus rhinoceros. And in their free time from exploits, the company writes memoirs and arranges magnificent balls!
For children 7-10 years old.
