How does cyanotype work? Opaque templates are placed on sheets of photosensitive paper. Under the influence of sunlight, the paper reacts, and designs appear on it. Then the paper is rinsed with water, and the finished image appears on a blue background. The kit contains no chemicals.
Included in the set: 8 sheets of light-sensitive paper measuring 21 × 28 cm, about 100 plastic stencils (with images of sea creatures), 1 plexiglass plate (to press the stencils flat against the paper), 4 felt-tip pens for coloring the developed image, and instructions.
