Getting ready for the dacha, a little girl takes a jump rope, a ball, a doll, and... a cat. In the countryside, the girl found plenty of interesting things to do and forgot about her fluffy pet. And the cat left... The adventures of a courageous cat and the important lesson its owner learned are told in a poem by the wonderful poet Nadezhda Mikhailovna Polyakova. The touching and expressive illustrations for this poem were drawn by the artist Olga Borisovna Bogaevskaya. Many wonderful children's books have been created by her hand for the delight of young readers, and the artist's works are held in the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in museums and private collections in Russia, Spain, Finland, China, Japan, Great Britain, France, and other countries.
