A board game based on the "Gravity Falls" cartoon
Dipper, Mabel, and their friends have decided to go gnome hunting. However, the gnomes are very quick, so catching them is no easy task. You will need to practice your dexterity and accuracy. Take turns throwing cards so that they land directly on the gnomes. But be careful! A dangerous, yet incredibly exciting, adventure awaits you.
How to play?
The main goal for the participants is to score as many points as possible. To do this, each player draws the top card from their deck on their turn without turning it over. Now, their task is to throw the card so that it lands on a gnome card. You must throw from the edge of the table.
If the card lands on or under a gnome card, the gnome is considered caught. The player takes the gnome and sets it aside until the end of the game. The thrown card is discarded.
If the card flies off the table, it is returned to the deck, the deck is reshuffled, and the player repeats their turn.
If the card lands on the table but does not hit a gnome, it remains where it landed, but is turned face up. In this case, the player must perform the action prescribed by that card.
For example, if a player flips a "Diary" card, all players without exception must grab one of the diary cards as quickly as possible (there is one less diary card than the number of players). The person who fails to grab one takes the face-up card. At the end of the game, it subtracts 2 points. And if a player draws a "Catch the Gnome" card, they must find the gnome with the same symbol as on the card as quickly as possible and slap it. The first one to do so keeps the gnome.
The game ends when one of the players throws their last card. The remaining cards in other players' hands are discarded. The scoring begins:
Each gnome card earns 1 point.
Each "Who's got it?" card earns 1 point.
Each diary card subtracts 2 points from the player's victory total.
Players calculate their points and announce the final total. The player who has scored the most points wins!
