The "Tick Tock Boom" board game for kids is a fun game from Piatnik – repeatedly recognized as the best game of the year, now in a version for children where young players are required to use all their creativity, quick-thinking skills, and vocabulary! During this game, players are tested on their ability to act and think as fast as possible, because the bomb can go off at any moment.
The player must name a word related to the word printed under the picture before the bomb "explodes." Then they pass the bomb to the next player, and the process repeats until the explosion sound – "boom!" – occurs. The player holding the bomb when it explodes takes that card as a penalty. The main suspense is that you never know exactly when the explosion will happen: 10 seconds after the game starts or only on the fifth round.
The first person to collect 10 penalty cards is eliminated from the game.
