If your child can't read yet, then "Read-grab" is a great reason to start! The game itself pushes the kids to read their first words. And for older kids, "Read-grab" is the most fun and effective way to develop speed reading. At the same time, the game is so simple that it takes literally 5 minutes to learn the rules!
The game has three variants of rules of different complexity and two sets of tokens with words of different lengths (3-5 letters and 6-7 letters).
"Read-grab" teaches not only to add words from letters, but also to instantly read, recognize the whole word, as if "photographing" it. Players race to match the word with the picture as quickly as possible. In such a gambling environment, children, without noticing it, gradually begin to read faster and faster. Believe me, after a while they will give you a head start!
The rules are outrageously simple:
Each player gets one "starter" token.
All other tokens are laid out on the table.
Players look at their tokens and try to find a pair on the table as quickly as possible.
If the player has found a pair, he grabs the token and looks for a pair to it.
