This is the second part of a large 4-part collection of mathematics problems and exercises. This Soviet textbook contains simple problems and examples. The child learns to compare numbers and determine how much larger or smaller one is than the other, and by how many times. Primary school students are introduced to numbers within the first thousand, master the skill of identifying hundreds, tens, and units, and reinforce addition and subtraction. In addition to this, the Stalin-era textbooks present examples of non-tabular division and multiplication, as well as operations with round tens and two-digit numbers. At the end of the book, there are problems and examples covering all operations, as well as the fundamentals of geometry.
