Winter has passed, the sun has warmed the earth, icicles have begun to drip, and the first buds have appeared on the trees... Chiv the sparrow, nicknamed "Scruffy-Nape," welcomes spring with joy. He chirps at the top of his lungs, hops from branch to branch, and bathes in puddles. But he has plenty of chores this spring, too: he needs to build a nest, and that is not so easy to do.
Nikolay Sladkov’s fairy tale about the mischievous, feisty little sparrow has been illustrated by Olga Tsurina.
