In this new book, the irrepressible Marfa masters a rebellious alphabet, makes exotic acquaintances, and sets off on a dangerous mission to rescue the hen Alevtina, which includes a race on an icebreaker, the heist of the century, and deciphering a recipe for a very rare medicine.
In these new stories, children will find even more dizzying and funny adventures of their favorite heroine, who this time must perform a real heroic deed: braving the cold and blizzard to obtain medicine to save the beloved chicken of her owner, Agrippina Vitaminovna.
The peaceful life of Sosnovka changes when the speckled hen Alevtina falls ill and there is no one else to get medicine for her from the neighboring town during a snowstorm. Then Marfa, sometimes mischievous but very kind at heart, realizes it’s time to take matters into her own little hooves. She decisively mobilizes all the inhabitants of Agrippina Vitaminovna's yard and, with their help, sets off to rescue the hen, setting aside all her disagreements with the sheep Musya and Dusya, as well as the rooster Mars and his charges.
The book tells, in an easy and unobtrusive way, how important it is to care for loved ones and try in every way to provide help to those who truly need it.
