Night has fallen on Busytown. People and animals are sleeping peacefully—at least some of them are. Others have gone out for a stroll and become participants in the most amazing events: some spent the night in the library, some caught a thief, and others attended a party in the park.
In "In the Night," Rotraut Susanne Berner tells stories of fluttering bats, moonlit walks, and cozy beds—of everything that happens in Busytown on a warm summer night. Rotraut Susanne Berner's picture books have become bestsellers in many countries around the world. These books are also wonderful tools for teaching children how to retell stories, narrate based on pictures, and practice memorization, as well as for speech therapy sessions with children and adults.
