Three orphaned girls are growing up in the house of a paleontologist in good old London, while the professor himself has been traveling somewhere for many years. Pauline, Petrova, and Posy have different personalities and talents. However, the professor's niece, who is raising them, has limited means, so the three adopted sisters find themselves enrolled—whether they like it or not—at the Children's Academy of Dancing and Stage Training. Pauline is drawn to the stage. For little Posy, the only thing that matters in life is dance; the only thing she has left from her birth mother is a pair of ballet slippers. And Petrova (that is her name, by the way) dreams only of... airplanes. How will their lives unfold?
- What different things we shall do! - exclaimed Pauline.
- And in such different places, - added Posy.
- I was just thinking, - Petrova rolled her eyes toward the ceiling, - if other girls were in our shoes, which one of us would they rather be?
For older school age.
