This workbook offers review and reinforcement exercises covering the entire 2nd-grade Russian language curriculum.
The book is divided into three parts corresponding to the three summer months. Each week of every summer month features tasks on various topics from the school curriculum. Each summer month concludes with a "Review the Rules" theory page.
It is very difficult to get a child to study during the summer. Therefore, all exercises in this workbook are presented in an engaging format. The child does not need to write much: it is enough to fill in a missing letter, underline a spelling pattern, or write down the resulting word. If your child is restless, try at least to go over the assignments with them orally.
If a child spends at least 5–10 minutes a day on the tasks throughout the week, they will thoroughly review the material covered during the year and easily settle back into the learning process in September.
By regularly referring to the materials in this book, the student will automate their writing skills and firmly memorize the spelling rules included in the elementary school curriculum.
