"Persephone" is a continuation of the Imaginarium line established by "Ariadne" and "Pandora" — kind, yet somewhat strange pictures. "Persephone" is about philosophy and emotions. Why does a stork bring a cat to a grandma? What is a mermaid waiting for while sitting on a bench? Why does Yoda have to use his power to knock fruit off a tree? In this edition, they are more philosophical and peaceful. The group of illustrators has generally remained the same. The expansion cards do not appear in any other edition (including 3D) — they are all completely new.
To play this Imaginarium expansion, you must have the game board and elephants. That means you need either one of the basic versions of Imaginarium (with the box that includes a board) or the travel set, which includes a separate board. The expansion on its own can only be looked at. You won't be able to play with it by itself.
The set includes 98 cards.
