This book is for boys and girls who want to learn more about different professions. Colorful illustrations, interesting facts about various jobs, and a narrative from the first-person perspective of a child—a friend of the book's main characters. All the books in this series follow a "day in the life of..." format: the young protagonists visit the workplaces of their adult acquaintances. Tanya the veterinarian helps not only household pets but also farm animals and even those at the zoo. She knows how to understand what is wrong with her patients, even though they cannot speak in a human language. If not for the skill of veterinarians, our pets would not be able to bring us joy for so long.
