Why learn to carve?
When cutting a sheet, we make dozens of coordinated movements: hold and turn the sheet, control the direction of the cut, close and open the scissors. Therefore, the child is not immediately able to perform even one simple incision.
Mastering the skill of working with scissors, children develop fine motor skills, prepare their hand for writing, learn to work with a complex tool, train attentiveness and accuracy.
The secret to the effectiveness of notebooks is smooth complication. It is the gradual complication that guarantees that the child will gradually and with interest improve the cutting skill.
Missions with a Story: Saving heroes from a fire, making your own sandwich or driving a lawnmower is much more interesting than just cutting along a given line with scissors.
