A year ago, Peter set Pax, his beloved pet fox, free forever. He decided that the fox would be better off in the wild. Perhaps he was right: Pax now has a family and tiny kits.
However, a sense of guilt does not leave Peter for even an hour. Orphaned and alone, he becomes a volunteer for the "Water Warriors," an organization that cleans rivers poisoned by war. But when one of Pax's cubs is in mortal danger, the fox comes seeking help from the only human he trusts...
The story of the friendship between a boy and a fox, "Pax" (2016), became a global bestseller. And five years later, the story has a long-awaited sequel, just as poignant and profound as the first book.
