"The Scarlet Flower" — the age-old tale of an enchanted prince is now available in an interactive edition! Sergei Aksakov's literary fairy tale, transcribed "from the words of Pelageya the housekeeper," appears in all its glory on the pages of this book-performance, featuring the true treasure of the language in which it is told. The reader is in for a long journey to the distant lands of "thrice-nine" kingdoms, where beyond the sea and the impassable thickets, vivid scenes will unfold before them — multi-layered, three-dimensional panoramas. Each one is like an exquisite and complex stage in a paper theater. This book will include a magical palace with unseen gardens, the merchant's beautiful daughter, the forest beast-monster, thunderbolts, and a happy escape from enchantment. And, of course, growing on a grassy hillock will be that miraculous wonder, that wondrous marvel — the scarlet flower.
For children aged 7-10.
