According to legend, the Japanese emperor received a panda as a gift from the Chinese ruler. Since this gift symbolized the reconciliation of the warring parties, the emperor ordered his servants to look after the animal and grow a large bamboo garden for it.
In the Takenoko game, participants have to take care of a young and very hungry panda. Cultivate the land to unlock new terrain tiles, irrigate seedlings, manage the gardener, and grow succulent bamboo to feed the bear. During the game, you will be able to complete various tasks that bring victory points. Here, a lot depends on the value of the weather die - when it's sunny, the player gets an additional action, if it's raining, the bamboo grows faster, and during a thunderstorm, a panda walks around the garden. At the moment when one of the participants will be able to complete a certain number of tasks, the final round is announced. After it, the points from the completed tasks are summed up, the one who scored the most points wins.
