For field mice, the world is defined by the boundaries of their garden. But one little mouse has other aspirations. She discovers a picture of a giant African cat on a postage stamp. But how to get there? After all, no earth-moving machine can handle that. Fortunately, a certain mouse known to everyone helps her build a flying machine.
And so, our curious heroine sets off on an adventurous journey, where she meets a woman who shares her passion for flight. Epic illustrations and an ingeniously crafted plot are the main ingredients of Torben Kuhlmann's mouse adventures. The fifth book in the series is a tribute to aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, who remains to this day an inspiring example of women's fight for their rights.
