In a small valley on a green meadow stands an amazing house, painted blue. Living in this house is a family of Moomins: Moominmamma, Moominpappa, and Moomintroll himself. And if one fine day a large group of visitors shows up on the doorstep, there will be room for everyone. In fact, there are many strange and dangerous things around—natural disasters, magic hats, antlions... But Moomintroll, the Snorks, Sniff, Snufkin, and their friends are not afraid of them at all. They travel, contemplate the necessity or pointlessness of all things, write books, and search for treasures. After all, no matter what adventures await Moomintroll and his friends, they know: even if a comet falls into their valley, even if a flood or a storm occurs, the forest, the garden, and the house will remain. On the veranda, one can always have a cup of coffee and enjoy some cookies or a cake baked by Moominmamma... Mamma and Pappa will fix everything, one just needs to make it home in time!..
Today, the Moomins are undoubtedly considered some of the most popular fairy-tale characters of the 20th century. And it is not surprising. Charming in their uniqueness, resembling plush toys, these kind creatures, always ready to help, have won the hearts of everyone who decided to get to know them better. The inhabitants of Moominvalley have become so beloved around the world that books about them have been translated into more than 50 languages, and the number of animated films made has already exceeded a dozen. Furthermore, a museum and two theme parks have been opened in their honor.
