Someone is stealing nuts from the animals in the forest. Finding the thief is a matter of honor for Commissioner Gordon, an experienced detective. Even if it means sitting in ambush all winter night.
But when the robber finally appears, the commissioner cannot move: he is frozen stuck! How embarrassing. He has to ask the criminal himself for help. But the annoying incident unexpectedly turns into good luck...
Ulf Nilsson is a Swedish children's author, one of the best contemporary storytellers. His stories are about a world in which, just like in life, there is both good and bad. But gentle humor and worldly wisdom help his characters cope with all adversities. The book series about Commissioner Gordon is a collection of detective stories in which the adult reader will undoubtedly recognize a parody of classic genre examples. Recommended for young detective lovers aged 6 and up — for reading aloud, role-playing, and independent reading.
