When the cautious and clumsy Ulf gets a new friend, his life is turned upside down. Percy is the complete opposite of Ulf: he likes to fight, tramples on other people's caps, and everyone gives him a wide berth during recess. Ulf desperately wants to be like Percy; he dreams of getting his hands on his magical sneakers, which, according to Percy, bestow strength and courage upon their wearer. And he succeeds! But alas, it’s not that simple...
This is a humorous story about how a "good boy" falls into bad company and turns into a confirmed troublemaker, based on the real-life memories of the famous Swedish author Ulf Stark, who wrote numerous books and plays for children.
