The famous novel by the Russian and Soviet writer Veniamin Kaverin tells a true and exciting story about explorers-travelers, about the loyalty and dedication of the protagonist in search of the missing expedition of Captain Tatarinov. It all started with accidentally found soaked letters. Once Sanya Grigoriev and his friend Petka caught a postman's bag in the river, which contained several letters from the participants of the polar expedition. We managed to read some of them, and Sanya learned everything by heart. Later it turned out that the expedition was gone - and by an amazing coincidence, it was with the disappeared expedition and its captain Ivan Tatarinov that Alexander's entire future life would be connected. He will go through all the hard trials and dangers, partings and defeats, but he will keep the oath given in childhood: "Fight and seek, find and not give up."
