What a disappointment for Lisa the cat to meet such aggressive mice! And to think she left her owner, Krem the confectioner, to set off on a dangerous journey for their sake. Could she have done otherwise? Real cats always catch a couple of mice for lunch. However, these gray creatures almost ate Lisa herself! After all, she smelled so delicious, like cinnamon. And it’s no wonder – the cat was baked from dough. She was Lisa the Bun.
After reading this book, young readers will not only learn about the adventures of Lisa the cat, but also meet characters from other fairy tales by Victor Lunin: a sad little cloud, an elephant calf who doesn’t know how to read, a brave little hedgehog, and a giraffe who wanted so much to play hide-and-seek... And what’s more, by carefully studying the recipe, you can bake a cat out of dough yourself (or with your mom)... Or an elephant calf and a calf? A hedgehog and a fox? A cloud and a little boat?.. Whoever you want! You just need a little imagination.
