Victoria Lederman writes in an easy and engaging style. That is why her books have become real hits and have firmly secured their place in the reading list of the modern school student. This collection includes stories about school life that were previously published as separate books.
"Vasilkin to the Board!" tells the stories of third-grader Dima, who finds himself in funny situations. One day he and his friend come up with a hilarious April Fools' prank, the next he decides to learn how to play the guitar by New Year's no matter what, or experiences firsthand what the expression "a weight off one's shoulders" really means. All these incidents teach him a lesson — the kind you would never get during "real" lessons.
"This is Our 4th 'N' Class" — are these stories about an extraordinary class? On one hand, yes, because it is a science class. On the other hand, the kids from 4th "N" are just like all other fourth-graders in the world: resourceful and mischievous, reliable and restless... Every young reader will recognize themselves in one of the twenty-two students.
