Sofiyka lives on the eighth floor of an ordinary apartment building. Her family is also perfectly ordinary: Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Oscar the cat. The kindergarten she attends is also the most ordinary one there is—with a teacher and a nap time. Why, then, is this girl, who will soon be six, called amazing? Is it because she likes to eat herring mixed with candy? Or because she talks to the gnomes Khariton and Afanasy? Or perhaps because she knows how to protect her dad from his stern boss? Indeed, this lively, cheerful, and quick-witted girl can handle anything.
