Children all over the world know and love the fairy tale Dwarf Nose. It has inspired numerous feature films and animated movies, and has been adapted for the stage in all corners of the globe. Dwarf Nose is part of the collection of fairy tales by Wilhelm Hauff, first published in 1827 under the collective title The Sheik of Alexandria and His Slaves. Specifically for this edition, writer Anna Gurova has created a new translation of the German author’s tale, while artist Anton Lomaev has created magical illustrations that will transport the reader to the old streets of a German town, where wonders can be found at every turn.
