In a village lived a little girl named Arishka, who was afraid of all kinds of creatures: frogs, spiders, and mice. Once, during haymaking, Arishka was with her mother and wouldn't let her work. Her mother sent her to eat raspberries at the edge of the forest. Arishka plucked up some courage and wandered deeper into the forest, toward a stream. There, she had a dangerous encounter with some bears. After that, she wasn't afraid of anyone anymore.
