Vladimir Grigoryevich Suteev is a classic of domestic children's literature. His fairy tales—simple, understandable, yet uniquely engaging—are particularly interesting to the youngest readers. After all, almost every phrase is accompanied by an illustration, and the story can be followed through the pictures.
This book is designed specifically for toddlers: it features bright pictures and large letters, the thick cardboard won't tear during reading, and the rounded corners won't hurt little fingers. A Chick and a Duckling hatched from their eggs and decided to become friends. They had many adventures, and one day the friends wanted to go to the river—the only thing was, the Duckling knew how to swim, but the Chick did not. And what happened next and how one friend saved the other, you will find out in this book!
