Vladimir Grigoryevich Suteev is a classic of domestic children's literature. His fairy tales—simple, understandable, yet uniquely engaging—are especially interesting to the youngest readers. After all, almost every phrase is accompanied by an illustration, and the story can be followed through the pictures.
This book is designed specifically for toddlers: it features bright drawings and large letters, the sturdy cardboard won't tear during reading, and the rounded corners won't hurt little fingers. Once upon a time, there was a Pencil on Vova's desk. One day, a Little Mouse found it and decided to chew it up. But the Pencil was smart and thought of a way to teach the Mouse a lesson—using a drawing, of course! And what the Pencil drew, you will learn from this book, and you can even try to recreate its drawing yourself!
