Twenty-two chapters of this book tell about the geographical features and natural wealth of different countries, about the customs and traditions of the peoples inhabiting them, about scientific, technical and other achievements of the past and present. Each chapter has 4 experiences of varying difficulty that illustrate the story, allowing you to visually reproduce a volcanic eruption or tsunami, the movement of tectonic plates, understand how a harp or loom works, learn how to knit marine knots or cook an English breakfast.
