One of the best illustrators of "Three Fat Men" is rightly called Leonid Vladimirsky. The handwriting of the artist, for whom, by his own admission, “the main thing is the image of the hero, a bright character, dynamic compositions”, was ideal for a heroic fairy tale novel.
