Every book about Mama Moo and her friend Crow is a fun story about an inquisitive and thoughtful cow and her crow friend. The characters find themselves in situations that children encounter—going to the pool, riding a snow scooter, learning to read—and learn about the world together with their readers. The books about Mama Moo and Crow have been translated into thirty languages and are known all over the world. Their authors are Jujja Wieslander, an honorary member of the Swedish Academy for Children's Books, and Sven Nordqvist, an artist who gained worldwide fame thanks to his books about Pettson and Findus. It was a beautiful summer day. The cows were grazing in the meadow. Everyone except Mama Moo, who got on her bike and set off to see her friend, Crow. She needs Crow to help her make a swing. But Crow doesn't want to help, because cows should be grazing in the meadow, not swinging on a swing. In the end, he gives in to persuasion—and now Mama Moo is happily swinging on a swing in the middle of the forest. Finally, it is time for the cow to head back to the farm to be milked. She returns to the barn very satisfied: after all, she managed to have some fun, and the swing will certainly come in handy again.
