"... These days, every essential item has its own voucher card. Maybe it's time to introduce cards for hope. It's missing the most."
Paris, June 1944. Jeanne, a member of the French resistance, was arrested on an anonymous denunciation. In a prison cell, she meets Francois, a petty crook. None of them knew that this meeting would drastically change their fate and would be the beginning of an exciting adventure.
Together, the heroes manage to escape and get into the thick of dangerous events. They are waiting for a run along the Parisian rooftops, a leisurely journey along the rivers and canals of France aboard the Himalaya barge and the search for their missing sister, who, apparently, ended up in the clutches of the Nazis...
"Flight of the Raven" is a touching and dramatic love story during the German occupation. There are no violent battle scenes inherent in war novels. We watch the daily course of life in Paris and the heroes who are trying to live in difficult times.
