In this new volume, readers can look forward to adventures high in the mountains. Deprived of his talisman, an Indian named Bold Raven collapses from exhaustion. Yakari sets out in search of the eagle's nest that stole the talisman, but neither Little Thunder nor the forest deer dared to climb so high, for only mountain goats can navigate the sheer cliffs. It is them that Yakari encounters on his path. But how can he reach the nest? Can a rope be made from the hair of wild goats?
The graphic stories about Yakari have become a classic, translated into many languages around the world. Derib and Job have created a wonderful world where there is room for true friendship, heroic deeds, and mutual support. At the same time, they have managed to give proper attention to Native American culture and the psychology of the characters. The books about Yakari have inspired several directors to create animated series and a full-length animated film.
