Valérie Picard, G.T. Laurence: Zip zap

Cassandra refuses to move forward. She imagines that terrifying monsters are hiding behind every page of the book. Her sister, Serena, tries to reassure her by explaining that there are only blank pages. She suggests she think of something cute, like a hummingbird. But for Cassandra, this exercise is far from easy. What follows is a series of unusual misadventures, where the spoken words come to life and conjure up absurd creatures and situations that degenerate into zany arguments. The two sisters then discover that words have the power to hurt, to transform, to trigger conflicts… but also to reconcile.
