Dana's summer plans had been completely different: she wanted to stay home, play in the yard, help her grandfather... But who was asking her? "Solontsy" summer camp had already thrown open its creaky gates. It couldn't be worse... The only thing that made it appealing was the rumor that even your deepest wishes could come true here; you just had to sprinkle some salt in a secluded spot and wait for a roe deer to lick up the treat. This was an opportunity not to be missed! The legend is captivating: their travel bags are packed with so much salt it would be enough for an entire sea. But the wishes aren't destined to come true—there isn't a trace of the animals left. Wait a minute, though: perhaps Dana and her new friends are capable of uncovering the mystery of the missing roe deer? Zulya Stadnik is a writer and educator.
