Simply magical!
Although there is no trace of magic in the stories about Kalle Blumkvist. But there is magic - the magic of Astrid Lindgren.
If you have read one of her best works, “We are all from Bullerby,” you will understand: books about Kalle are about the same thing, only about slightly older children, about 10-12 years old. They are also about prosperous children, a happy childhood, the good old games familiar to us all, everyday worries.
Life in a small town is calm and monotonous, but not for the guys! They are on vacation and at war! War of the Scarlet and White Roses. The war for the Great Mumrik is a pebble that, like a challenge banner, goes to one side or the other. Which needs to be hidden in a secluded place and found and again hidden and found, giving hints to opponents where to look and drawing maps. These are the same games that we all, girls and boys, played in courtyards and dachas - we hid in attics, captured enemies, sat in secret headquarters - so they resonate very much in our hearts.
But I got carried away by the background, and what does the detective have to do with it? A boy named Kalle Blumkvist is the main character of the stories. In addition to the war of roses, he has another hobby - detective work. In a small sleepy town, it would seem that there is not much to go around in this field, but Calla is lucky, several times he was lucky enough to catch real criminals! Not without the help of the police and friends, but if it weren’t for Calle, everything would have been lost, chief, everything would have been lost. They mocked his hobby, but it was thanks to his knowledge that Kalle was able to suspect something was wrong in time, conduct an examination and get on the trail of the criminals, and not just any petty hooligans, but real bandits!
Everything in Astrid Lindgren's books is wonderful: the plot, the atmosphere, and the language, but the best thing is her attitude towards children, truly kind, respectful and sincere.
One book contains 3 amazingly interesting stories for children 6-12 years old.
So, my dear Watson, let's get started.
