For a whole summer she visited him secretly from everyone, and one day she found out that grandfather had never been to the sea. But with such a dreamy look, he put a shell to his ear and asked if the sea was really salty ... A trip to the sea is the best birthday present for grandfather, Mira decides and develops a plan. She needs to have a serious, businesslike talk with her mother and outsmart the harsh nanny, develop a route and buy tickets. Mira does not yet know that at some point the trip will not go according to plan and will turn her whole life upside down, and not only her.
Alena Kashura - winner of the International Petr Ershov Competition, laureate of the International Literary Prize. V. Krapivina. She is attracted to books in which the characters go on a journey and get into adventures. So the heroes of her poignant story "Miramore" find themselves on the road. The author of the illustrations, Natasha Morozova, admits that the story about Mira and her grandfather touched her from the first words.
