Mankind has always looked at the stars. The night sky beckoned, and for many millennia we wanted to fly into the mysterious darkness. But only in the second half of the 20th century were spacecraft able to overcome gravity. Flights around the Earth, spacewalks, landing on the moon! Automatic probes went to the near and far planets of the solar system. It seemed that a little more - and we will begin to colonize Mars and Venus, and then we will aim at distant galaxies.
But space exploration turned out to be difficult, dangerous and very expensive. Only in the 21st century, new technologies and new talents have given us back the dream of space. We have learned how to build more reliable, powerful and inexpensive launch vehicles. Flights to the Moon have resumed, and today they talk about the colonization of Mars as a reality. We are back in space! We're reaching for the stars again!
