Fox and Piglet were out for a walk in the snowy winter forest when they stumbled upon the camp of the Scruffs. But the Scruffs, who had been taken by surprise by their unexpected guests, were too busy to notice—they were waiting for Grandpa Oversight. It turns out the Scruffs have an age-old tradition: throughout December, right up until Christmas, they must treat Grandpa Oversight to cakes baked to his exact specifications. Otherwise, Christmas won't come.
When Grandpa Oversight arrives for his latest cake, Fox and Piglet are puzzled: he looks very strange indeed. The friends decide to find out who this mysterious cake-lover really is.
