Have you heard of the Fab Five?

The Fab Five is a series of children's detective books by English writer Enid Blyton. The first book in the series, entitled Five on a Treasure Island, was published as early as 1942, but to this day this series of 21 books remains one of the best-selling children's book series in the world. Your children's English-speaking friends, if they are over 10 years old, probably know and love The Famous Five.

Two brothers and a sister - Julian, Dick and Ann - often come to Kirrin Cottage for holidays with their cousin George and participate in solving secrets, conducting their own detective investigations, in which Timmy, George's faithful dog, helps them.

Giving an unreadable child a book with a gripping detective story is the best way to help them fall in love with reading!

For those starting the series, On Treasure Island is the very first book.

Is there a stranger on the island again? And what is in the chest that was found on the wrecked schooner? The Famous Five try to track down the smugglers until one night a baby screams...
