The notebook is suitable for kids who pick up pencils for the first time. It is aimed at developing fine motor skills and the skill of working with a pencil. In the future, this will help the child learn to write faster.
Using the workbook "Kumon. Learning to draw. First lessons" the child:
- learn how to hold a pencil correctly;
- remember the names of colors;
- will develop fine motor skills;
- be able to create simple drawings.
The tasks in the notebook are given in order from simple to complex. They are divided into three blocks:
Paintings-paintings (No. 1-6), in which the child will draw the way he wants. The purpose of the exercises is to captivate the baby, introduce him to pencils and arouse interest in classes.
Lines (No. 7-30). The kid will practice drawing lines of varying complexity: straight lines, broken lines, arcs, spirals, loops. The exercises in this section are aimed at developing the skill of working with a pencil. Gradually, the child gets used to holding it correctly and draws more and more complex lines. In the future, this will help him learn to write.
Complete the picture (No. 31-39). In this section, the child draws in the missing details on the images. First, the colors to be used will be recommended to him, and then the baby will be able to show imagination and creativity. In the last task, the child will draw what he wants himself.
