This is a book with history: it was first published in 1909 in Knebel's "Gift Series". To this day, the books of this famous series remain a model of good taste and the best examples of children's illustration and book design. For the book "The Coming of Winter", illustrations and ornaments were made by Alexander Vasilyevich Lozhkin, a book graphic artist close to the "World of Art" - his recognizable style influenced many Soviet book artists.
