This time the French comics artists, who have already delighted Russian readers with bright series about insects, marine animals and dinosaurs, took up the birds. And this means that you will meet new cartoon characters - and not only the well-known pigeons, magpies and sparrows! On the pages of the first volume, you will meet much more exotic characters: a mourning drongo, a rock cockerel, a two-horned kalao, a smoky frogmouth, and many, many others. You will also learn how the shuttlebill differs from the heron, which bird is considered the most dangerous in the world, what the bald eagle costs for its greed, whether pelicans eat other birds, and even ... what killed the ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus! The series is additionally intrigued by the fact that a new team of authors, not yet familiar to our readers, is working on it: screenwriter Jean-Luc Garrera, artist Alain Sirvan and colorist David Lenvan, who decided to slightly shift the focus to the scientific side. In other words, this book can be considered as a colorful mini-encyclopedia, and the extensive educational material following the comics only reinforces this impression. However, the signature humor of the collection has not gone away, and those who managed to fall in love with the previous series for the opportunity to have some fun will not be disappointed.
